Privacy policy

Kingsman Barber runs this website, the online booking on it and the panel our barbers work in. This page explains what personal data we hold, why we hold it and what you can ask us to do with it.
If anything here is unclear, write to [email protected] and we will explain it.
Who is responsible
Kingsman Barber decides what happens to the data described here, which in the words of the GDPR makes us the data controller.
You can reach us at [email protected], on the phone numbers at the bottom of this page, or in person at any of our shops.
What we collect
- Booking online: your name, phone number, e-mail address, the shop, barber, services and time you chose, and any note you leave for the barber.
- Reviews: your rating, your comment, and the name it is published under unless you post it anonymously.
- Abuse prevention: a random identifier kept on your device, so a customer the shop had to block cannot simply book again under another name.
- Staff accounts: name, e-mail address, role, and a record of each sign-in with its time, IP address and browser.
We never ask for card details here. You pay in the shop.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To make and manage the appointment you asked for, and to send the confirmation, reminder and change e-mails that go with it. Legal basis: performance of a contract with you.
- To run the shop day to day: the barbers' schedule, your visit history and the shop's own bookkeeping. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running the business.
- To keep the site and the panel secure, which is why we record sign-in attempts and block abuse. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in security.
- To publish your review on the website. Legal basis: your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
- To store anything on your device that is not strictly necessary. Legal basis: your consent, given through the cookie banner.
Who can see it
Inside the shop, only the barbers and managers whose role gives them access in the panel. The owner decides what each role may see.
Outside the shop, only the companies that run the service for us: the provider that delivers our e-mails, our hosting provider, and Cloudflare, which checks that the sign-in form is used by a person rather than a bot.
We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.
Where it is kept
On servers in the European Union. If that ever changes, we will say so on this page before it happens.
How long we keep it
- Bookings and visit history: for as long as you are a customer of the shop, and after that for as long as the shop's accounting obligations require.
- Reviews: until you ask us to take them down.
- Sign-in and security records: a limited period, long enough to look into abuse.
- Anything stored on your device: the periods listed in the cookie policy.
When we no longer need something, we delete it or strip out whatever identifies you.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to:
- show you a copy of the data we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your data, where we are not obliged to keep it;
- limit what we do with it, or object to us using it for our legitimate interests;
- hand it to you in a portable form;
- withdraw a consent you gave, which does not undo what we did before you withdrew it.
Write to [email protected] and we will answer within one month. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may complain to the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija, ada.lt).
Children
We cut children's hair, but we do not expect children to book online by themselves. An appointment for a child should be made by a parent or guardian, whose contact details we then hold.
Cookies and what we store on your device
The cookie policy lists everything this site keeps on your device, what each item is for and how long it stays. You choose there what we may store beyond the strictly necessary.
Changes to this page
We update this page whenever the way we work changes. The date at the top always shows the last change.
